Bidding at Auto Auctioneers is open to registered businesses only. Australian law requires us to identify every buyer before a bid is accepted, so we verify your company details once and your account stays active for all future auctions.
1. Complete your registration
Fill in the form below and press send — it reaches our buyer services team directly. You can also email the same details to info@smartauctions.com.au.
What we need from you
Company name and trading name
Exactly as registered with ASIC.
ABN or ACN
We verify it against the ABR register.
Certificate of registration
ASIC company extract or business name registration.
GST registration status
So invoices are issued correctly.
Registered and postal address
Plus the yard or delivery address you use.
Director / authorised signatory
Full name, date of birth and position.
Photo ID of the signatory
Driver licence or passport, both sides, in colour.
Motor dealer licence
If you buy as a licensed dealer or wrecker (state licence number).
Bank account details
Account name, BSB and number in the company's name for refunds.
Authorised buyers list
Names and emails of staff allowed to bid on the account.
Signed buyer terms
Acceptance of our terms and conditions of sale.
2. We verify and approve
Our buyer services team checks your ABN, licence and identity documents. You will receive approval and your bidding login within a maximum of 24 hours on business days. If anything is missing we reply the same day telling you exactly what to resend.
3. Start bidding
Once approved you can bid in live and online auctions, set maximum bids, and purchase fixed-price vehicles. No bidding deposit is required — the full amount is payable within 48 hours of a successful purchase.
